Members of FIRST Robotics Team 573 , Mech Warriors, come from Marian and Brother Rice High Schools both located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The FIRST organization's emphasis on Gracious Professionalism reinforces the strong values and morals that Marian and Brother Rice High Schools expect their students to live by everyday.
Being a member of Team 573 and the FIRST Robotics program has helped each member to develop the leadership skills that are necessary later in life. On a more career-oriented level, the FIRST Robotics program inspires members of Team 573 and many others on competing teams to learn engineering, writing, and animating skills. FIRST gives participants first hand experience of the amount of work and collaboration that goes into a real engineering project.
